Semsi Pasa Mosque

  /  Semsi Pasa Mosque

Yavuzkoy Semsi Pasha Mosque is one of the most important works from the Ottoman period to the present day within the boundaries of Kosk district. The mosque was made of brick with a square plan and covered with a single dome. The mosque’s vault transition thromps are muqarnas. The walls are plastered and the dome and the last congregation are covered with tiles. The cover of the main dome is given an octagonal shape with a series of tiles, thus providing an aesthetic appearance with the pulley. The structure is in two stages, the first stage is square, the second stage is octagonal pulley and domed. Its minaret was rounded on a square base.
