The Aydın Martyrs Monument was built in 1926 in Efeler district of Aydin. It was made to remind forever Yoruk Ali Efe and his friends to prevent the invasion of Aydin’s wholeheartedly struggle. The event that took place on September 7, 1922 was the place where the current Ataturk Square was located. On four surfaces of the monument;

“Visitor! Stop in front of this monument think about the victims who have said goodbye to love and dreams for the homeland. ‘7 September 1338 (1922),’ This is the hometown of orphans and orphan children of burnt grandparents, do not forget them. ‘7 September 1338 (1922) ”.
