Track Name: Karacasu Camarasi – Sirtlanini Cave Track

STARTING POINT: KARACASU

ENDPOINT : Camarasi Mahallesi.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL OF THE TRACK: It is an easy track with less than 9 km climb.

FEATURE OF TRACK:4 km of the track is a stabilized road. After 4 km, you can reach CobanogullariArea, which is the first stopover, and after 500 m climb, you will reach Sirtlanini Cave. Most of them are landing tracks consisting of forest trails.

RESTING PLACES: The first break is in Cobanogullari and the second break is in Sirtlanini Cave.

THINGS TO SEE

You can walk among the pine forests and maquis along the trail. After passing through the narrow entrance gate of Sirtlanini Cave, you will be welcomed by an under ground natural museum of 45 meters depth and 450 meters length. You will be fascinated by stalactites, stalagmites and columns that are formed as a result of the limestone embroidery processing of groundwater for hundreds of thousands of years. At the end of the walk, you can taste the Karacasu pitta bread in Karacasu city center and then visit the pottery workshops. Do not leave without visiting the Aphrodisias, city of Karia, dating back 5,000 BC, which was included in the UNESCO’s Heritage List in 2017.

TRANSPORTATION: The route is 16 km to Karacasu, 56 km to Nazilli, 96 km to Aydin and 200 km to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport.
